St. Stephen’s International School, Khao Yai is an international day and boarding school for students in year 2-13. The school is situated in a natural environment just minutes from Khao Yai National Park, less than a 2 hour drive from Bangkok.

If you’re the adventurous type, this camp was made for you! Adventure, survival skills, teambuilding, and all the thrill of the forest in Khao Yai National Park.

English & Adventure Camp “Young Inventors”

Our English and Adventure Camp this year will discover in a world of constant change how and why new things are invented and how new gadgets like phones, computers, clothes, food and other  inventions constantly change and shape all of our lives.

During the camp students will be able to learn and also join in and have a chance to become a Young Inventor!

Our students will learn about many successful inventions both famous and some unknown ones. They will learn about the different materials that are used for making inventions, the skills involved and why some were successful and some were not!

The challenge for our students during the camp will be to design inventions for the future in a world where their vision is unlimited. They will be encouraged to invent and design anything they want and be able to explain why and how it will work. It could be related to; fashion, leisure, housing, transport, communication etc.  Students will be encouraged to think of how the world may develop in the future and prepare for it.

Their final presentations will involve the working ideas, drawings, models, and the ability to describe their new inventions in English.

As well as our Daily Project Classes and English Games, students will also participate in many other exciting and educational activities and events such as Sports day, trips to a temple, hiking in the national park and fun activities in an adventure park.

Some of our famous activities such as The Next Top Model, and Academy Fantasia, will be here again and many more new exciting events.

On the final day there will be another one of our well recognized stage performances which will of course involve the participation of all of our students. All parents are invited to attend on that day!
